Curriculum Vitae
After graduating 2006 Louisa Köber went travelling and working for five months around Australia.
In summer 2007 returning back to Germany she did internships at Cabinet Making Workshop ‘Die Schreiner’ in Kirchheim and modell-making Workshop Bela Berec in Esslingen.
In fall 2007 she started to study 'Industrial Design' taking part in the MEDes program at the ‚Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste‘ in Stuttgart / Germany.
In fall 2009 during her semester abroad at the ‘Politecnico di Milano’ in Milan / Italy she gained experiences in fashion design.
In summer 2010 she obtained her Bachelor of European Design for her experimental studies on 'Folding and pleating'
In fall 2010 she took part in the workshop 'Materials and Emotions' with 'Sony', 'Chiba University' of Japan & the MEDes at ‘Ensci - Les Ateliers’ in Paris / France where she spent the following two semesters. Within this time she participated in a textile design project and learned more about fabrics and how to use computer operated looms.In fall 2011 she got to know ceramic manufacturing in her internship with porcelain designer and artist 'Piet Stockmans' in Genk / Belgium.
Since November 2011 she is working as an intern for product designer 'Alexander Taylor' in London / United Kingdom.
